Do you know what I like to do? I like to make a mess of my kitchen and create some disasters while occasionally making some pretty awesome concoctions! This week I got into the kitchen and made Michael some stiff drinks because it was just one of those weeks. Oh-my-heck was it one of those weeks!
I dove into the liquor cabinet to see what I had to work with and this is what I found. Not a bad selection, huh?
Ingredients
- 1 oz Caramel macchiato creamer
- 2 oz Iced coffee
- 1 oz Kahluha
- 1 oz Vanilla vodka
- Cocoa to rim the glasses
Instructions
- Mix everything together with ice in your shaker and pour into a martini glass that is rimmed with cocoa. Enjoy!
Presentation, presentation, presentation! I watch too much Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee because I felt this overwhelming urge to make my glasses pretty. This process was simple because I just dipped it into the water and then into the cocoa. It will harden around the rim so I recommend leaving it upside down until it dries some.
You can sort of see that i didn’t let mine dry all of the way before flipping it over. You can barely tell once the drink is in the glass but it is something to think about for all of the perfectionists out there.
Shake, shake, shake. Shake, shake, shake. Shake your booty! Shake the ingredients with ice and pour right into your glass.
Doesn’t that just look divine? Oh you better believe that it was! Michael was so surprised when he came home to a cocktail. It was a rare instance where I could have been consider as ‘fitting into the housewife role’.
“Oh Hunny, how was work? Here let me take your shoes and your briefcase. I did my hair and makeup because I wanted to serve you this beautiful cocktail in high heels while you sat in your recliner.” BARF
I did make something pretty freaking fantastic that is non-alcoholic in case you love coffee drinks but hate the price. Be sure to check out my Turtle Coffee Float!

Oh girl. Party like you’re TWENTY-five tonight! Stay up late, sleep in, take two ieobrufpn and eat a hearty breakfast, topped off with a cup of coffee and a warm shower… you’ll be just fine. Or so I’ve heard.
*wink wink*P.S. Your hubby sounds as fabulous as those cocktails do! Enjoy your kid-free evening with him!

Hmm… You have placed two words that I like very much, coffee and martini, side by side. Needless to say, you’ve got my attention, and I’m putting this on my To-Try list.
