I have a lot of lessons to learn in life and one of them just happens to be about gardening. I feel like a moron but what can you do about it now?
Michigan had some mind blowing weather in the middle of March this year and all the animals came out of hibernation to get some yard work done. Overly ambitious me ran out and bought all of the things to start my seedlings… and then let them die. How you ask?
Michigan is one hormonal woman when it comes to weather! She is the ultimate temptress and knows how to string you along just to drop you on your tush with a broken heart later. AHHH!!! <~ This is frustration!
My pretty little seedlings were growing and I was proud just like any Mama bear would be. Then the frost slapped the glimmer out of my eyes so quick that I didn’t even have a minute to realize it. Why am I incapable of planting vegetables? What color is my thumb? Clearly it is not green because everything dies or gets eaten by the animals.
What tips do you have for me? Do you keep your seeds in the house? If so, when do you plant them and when do you transplant them to your outside garden?
