Sometimes I get discouraged with my pictures because anyone who cares anything about their work is hard on themselves. Michael even knows that I get a ‘tone‘ when I am disappointed with myself. “It’s OK” means I am not going to deliver what I want and is accompanied by a mellow attitude. 
Drama Queen much?!
For example: I was taking pictures of a grilling party for my photography class and Mother Nature was just nasty to me; P-M-S like none other! What a twat! My food and pictures caused my creative boner to deflate and I was just left with OK. Which I am normally OK with, but when it comes to the pictures I want an epic explosion! Think- food porn!
Food porn? No joke! It is a real thing and it isn’t the whole sitting on cakes fetish thing either. (That is a real life fetish in case you didn’t know.) I mean porn like you look at the pictures of food because they are pretty; Lyuba from Will Cook for Smiles just told me about it tonight! Bow-Chicka-Bow-Wow!

- Life is like a camera, capture the good times- I do own some apple pie worthy shots. (Please tell me that you know the movie!)
- Life is like a camera, develop from the negatives- The more I shoot, the better I get and that makes Michael happy because I finish quicker. (What man doesn’t like that?)
- Just take another shot- I took 368 pictures to be exact and I am officially the paparazzi of Grand Blanc!
Really, I just wanted to share this awesome picture with you and I had to make a Debby Downer situation a little lighter because nobody is friends with the depressed chick.
If you know who owns this picture please send me their link because I love it and couldn’t find where it originated! They deserve a link back for something awesome! They should watermark their pictures too.

Totally digging the new light background, yeys! And hahahah you make me giggle. Practice makes perfect and a little editing goes a long way
The great thing about digital is that you can take a bajillion pics to get that one perfect shot! I’m not great at food pics either though…definitely working on that…and saving up for a “real” camera so I can get serious about taking “food porn” worth pichas, haha.

I’m hard on myself with pictures too, but really, I’m not all that good! I probably take about 75 pictures just to get one I like. Love your outlook, especially focusing on what’s important!

I love the analogy to the camera. I’m just awful about deleting and forgetting about some things. (But, I must admit that I LOVE being digital now so there’s less guilt over tossing something that didn’t work out right.)
