We are going to start off the maternity photo shoot recap with something predictable traditional per the request of the daddy. Do you know how I know Rachael is my sister? She didn’t even touch up her nails for her photo shoot.
What is the best thing about being underweight when you get knocked up? The best thing is that this is what your belly looks like when you are 38/40 weeks pregnant. She’s a lucky broad isn’t she?
Let me tell you what is only funny when you aren’t the pregnant women doing it; sitting Indian style, getting up off of the ground, rolling over and posing for pictures. I am the type of sister who chuckles to herself and my pregnant sister tries to roll around on the ground.
Jon wore sandals and shorts to their maternity photo shoot… silly man that just won’t work for this picture; not to mention that it was 50 degrees today!
Do you know how hard it is to get a good picture when your models can’t be serious? I ended up taking a lot of pictures because Jon kept whispering in Rachael’s ear, “Nom, nom, nom.”
“Act like you love each other.”
Today I learned that my yard is very uneven and climbing a ladder to take pictures is quite dangerous because it just shakes and shakes some more. As I climbed to the top of my ladder my funeral flashed before my eyes a few times. I obviously didn’t die from a ladder accident today, but I didn’t get my shot either. Oh well…
I don’t think the pictures turned out terrible for my first time taking pictures of people, so I must share what I learned today. I learned that my sister keeps their apartment an ice box, a mucus plug falling out will cause your model to be late and I prefer to take pictures of things that aren’t alive.
Aunt 1 – Future Boyfriends 0.
I predict that Leah will be a woman of little emotion, like her Aunt Mallery is, because she kept kicking her daddy in the face during this shot. I am proud to have taught her the ways of a dude-woman already!
Are you ready for the funny pictures from Rachael’s maternity photo shoot?
Ladies I know you know what this pictures represents! I was lucky enough to have made it through my pregnancy without any crazy pregnancy cravings, but that is not the case for Rachael. I did score a couple Star Crunches out of this photo shoot so I am pretty thankful for her off the wall cravings.
Jillian from Mommy Testers sent Rachael this adorable Storm Pooper onesie for a baby shower gift! This picture makes Star Wars moms everywhere a little bit happier, or whatever Star Wars moms get. Maybe they walk around making that Wookie sound? hahaha

I love maternity shots, so fun! Mental note: need to get underweight before next pregnancy, haha!! Funny thing is – neither of those things are likely to happen. Love the pics – great job!!

I’m trying to imagine how holidays at home were when you guys were younger…I’m guessing nutty like with my sisters
Isn’t taking pictures of people SO much harder than food?!?! You may call it a photo bomb but I think they’re pretty darn good!
