For once in my life I truly feel like I am ahead of the game on something to do with the holidays. Last weekend we took Michael to Bass Pro Shops Santa’s Wonderland and he already has his picture with Santa Claus! Say what? You might be thinking that we are crazy because it isn’t even Thanksgiving yet, and you might be right, but I feel like I deserve the Mother of the Year Award! I rarely feel like I am worthy of the Mother of the Year Award so I am going to celebrate my little victory.
PS: I assure you that you want to see the Santa picture at the end of this post and there just might be a giveaway down there.
You are crazy if you haven’t gone to Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops! It is far from the uber expensive, crazy lines, Santa without a beard picture places that you might have taken your kids to before. This is Santa’s Wonderland and it’s full of warm and fuzzies! My heart always fills with joy when I take Michael to Bass Pro Shops to see Santa, I attribute that feeling to how special they make your experience.
There are moments that really just make your heart happy and this was one of them. Michael rode his first carousel, he was afraid of the talking moose and I have a sneaking suspicion that he would be very happy if a Fisher Price four wheeler showed up under the Christmas tree!
If a child wasn’t waiting in line to see Santa then they were probably playing games! There was something for children of all ages, yes that includes the adult children! You can’t help but be happy when you are listening to the kids laugh and play; a child’s laughter will make the biggest Scrooge smile.

I want to take the girls to see Santa this weekend just to see if I can get a picture of them screaming in terror. That is priceless. I totally feel like editing in funny captions and sending it to people I know who do Tumblr.

ok first…loving the Santa picture. Been there done that but Santa made us get in the picture too!
