Today was the last year that the Schuplin Thanksgiving was catered by my Mom; next year the SCHUPLINS have to cook it, with pizza backups. The Schuplin Thanksgiving was created because I wanted to have a family tradition of our own, where WE hosted it, at OUR HOME. Going to everyone’s house on the holidays drives me a little batty sometimes. I love them, but I love being home more.

Everyday Elegance Chair Covers are the bee’s knees of chair covers. Instead of draping a towel on the chair like in the first picture, you have a waterproof chair cover like in the second picture and look like a genius. We took our chair covers to my Mom’s house just in case there were Thanksgiving party fouls! Bad party fouls… go to your room until you have figured out what you did wrong!

Trader Joe’s Viñas Chilenas Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon- 2011
There isn’t much to say about this wine, it was very meh. What does meh mean? It was underwhelming, nothing spectacular, it was a good chugging wine. Do you want to know how I know it was a good wine to pound? By the time I got home from Sears, it was practically gone and I was left with a buzzed husband who only want me to talk about the boots I tried on at the store. Silly men and sexy boots!
