Can you believe we are on day 20 of Wine with Mallery? There are only 5 more days of wine before my liver gets to take a break! Yee-haw! Words can’t express how excited I am for my wine detox.
Wine with Mallery cliff notes for those who can’t watch the video…
Wine with Mallery Fact-
Did you know my favorite genre of music is heavy metal? There is something about the fast and aggressive sound of the band that gets me all hot and bothered. The bass makes a girl go mmmmmhmmm. And the nimble fingers of the guitarist… oh yeah!
The gym, back to the gym.
The bottom line, heavy metal gets me going in more ways than one.
You are probably sick of me talking about my BFFs. The things is, I love them enough to talk about them every day. Why wouldn’t I love friends who send me stuff like this? My insane friend sent me something pink (Gag-a-rific), my bunny friend became an enabler of my hair accessory obsession, my wine-o in training likes to see me drunk so she sent me some Trader Joe’s love, and my online family sent me the cutest personalized lanyard!
Trader Joe’s 2011 Charles Shaw Pinot Grigio
I was really surprised this Pinot Grigio was as good as it was. Sometimes researching a wine before you try it is like shooting yourself in the foot. I only found 2 positive reviews for the Charles Shaw Pinot Grigio and a whole lotta negative reviews!
This Pinot Grigio is pale yellow with a slight green hue to it; it was a very subtle green tint. There is a hint of an apple nose, which is not what everyone online said. There was an overwhelming number of reviews that said this Pinot Grigio smelled and tasted like lemon, among other things. I’m not buying it. It was better than the Charles Shaw Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
PS: It’s a good thing Charles Shaw didn’t sponsor this post because Honig is another vineyard.

Try as I may, I am not a wine drinker. Or maybe I just haven’t found the right one… hmm…
