I have a scrumptious, healthy dinner recipe for all of my fellow busy bees! I’ve talked about how stress encourages stress eating, and then I talked about the healthy snacking changes I am making with Tyson Grilled & Ready chicken. Well, it’s finally time for me to share a semi-homemade dinner recipe that everyone can make! Buckle your seats belts because this ride will be over in 10 minutes! If I’m lyin’, I’m dyin’.
Here is my healthy dinner recipe for those who can’t watch the video.
The ingredients for this Tyson healthy meal are beyond simple, with the star of the show being the Tyson chicken! How have I lived my life not knowing this chicken existed? Do you realize how many times I haven’t made dinner because I forgot to pull something out of the freezer? These are first world problems, people!
I picked up the Tyson Chicken at Walmart, and I must say that it is now classified as a grocery list staple because it makes life THAT much easier! Every single minute is the difference between staying on track and massive amounts of stress. (As I sit here eating a sandwich, typing one handed.)
Ingredients
- 2 tbls Basil
- 2 tbls Rosemary
- 1 tbls Garlic herb spice
- 2 tbls Lemon juice
- 1 Bag of Tyson Grilled & Ready chicken breast fillets
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix your herbs together.
- Put the thawed out chicken into a large bowl and coat with the 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
- Sprinkle the herbs into the bowl and toss until they are covered.
- Place the breast in the microwave for (about) 1 minute.
- Pair with your favorite starch and vegetable.
I told you where to find the ingredients, how simple the ingredients are, now we can talk about how easy it is to prepare this healthy dinner recipe. Are you ready? You coat the chicken breasts with the lemon juice and use a pair of tongs to toss the chicken breasts with the herb mixture! I’m pretty sure my 18 month old could make this recipe… in his sleep.
I assure you this is a very flavorful chicken recipe that won’t disappoint you; there is something about the combination of the lemon and garlic that balances out the herbal flavor of the basil and rosemary. This chicken recipe is one of my tried and true Summer grilling recipes that the entire family enjoys. Heck, Little Michael was mowing down on the chicken during the video!
I will come up with another healthy dinner recipe when I can fit it into my schedule…
Update: I am happy to report I have been to the gym everyday this week and the only packaged food item I’ve had was an oatmeal cookie. Everybody deserves a small reward when they are doing a good job!

Looks yummy! I didn’t know Tyson made the grilled and ready chicken breasts – that’s really handy. I will have to look for them next time I’m at the grocery.

Looks delicious! After seeing these Tyson Grilled and Ready products in action I am going to have to add them to my grocery list for next week. I am just too exhausted this pregnancy to cook everything from scratch… but, I am too hungry to eat junk.
This looks like the perfectly delicious solution!

I’ve bought Tyson chicken strips and I usually just throw them over a salad and keep it moving.
Thanks for the reminder that a little seasoning can take it up a notch!

Yummy! This is a perfect meal for our weight-loss program. I’m going to share it with Howard so HE can cook it for me.

I’m not much of a microwave cooker but this looks awfully healthy and yummy. I’m going to sneak this in this week and see what the family thinks. Thanks for the tip!
