Now, you better listen up because I have something very important to tell you. Something that will change the way you eat chocolate candy forever.
White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M’s are the best bite sized chocolates on this planet! Hands down. Don’t try and argue with me because you will lose everything you own. You will lose because people sell bags of these M&M’s online for… wait for it… $10 or more! It’s true.
You, you, what? My brain didn’t know how to process the phrase ‘not going to have a birthday party’.
And at that moment I realized I was going to give her a birthday party that would rival Sandra Lee’s perfectly designed tablescapes.
It was on, on like Donkey Kong!
And create a tablescape is exactly what I did.
Fall party idea- candy corn crafts
If you asked me which candy corn party craft was the easiest to create I would tell you all of the above. Hands down, the only reason I whipped this party up in two days is because every detail was incredibly simple. I surprised myself with how simple everything was.
Let me ask you a few questions… Do you have spray paint for candy corn bottles? Can you get your hands on yarn for cute little candy corn trees? How about some tissue paper for wall poms?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, you will own this candy corn themed party.
Fall party idea- hot apple cider
Are you still paying attention? You NEED to recreate my hot apple cider this weekend! Trust me when I say we ran out and everyone asked for the recipe before leaving my house. I never imagined throwing together a cider recipe with Mott’s Apple Juice would ever touch the flavor of the cider you get from the orchard, but it did. Mott’s Apple Juice, guys!
- 64oz Mott’s Apple Juice
- 1C Brown sugar
- 1t Nutmeg
- 1t Cloves
- 4 Cinnamon sticks
Fall party idea- candy corn food
My candy corn recipe mission was simple, put White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M’s in anything and everything that would be injested by party guests. Oh, a no-bake cookie recipe? It needs M&M’s. What would a biscotti be without M&M’s baked right into it? A boring old biscotti, that’s what, and people don’t remember boring old biscotti recipes. No, I needed glamourous fall recipes that were simple enough to fit into my crazy work week, and pretty enough to double as decorations. I needed jazz hand worthy ideas and you can bet your bum I created candy corn party food fit for a king!
Here are the marshmallow treat ingredients responsible for my new waistline
- 6C Rice cereal
- 3T Butter
- 10oz Marshmallows
- 1C M&M’s
- Food coloring for the appropriate layer
You will rapid fire produce 3 batches of the above ingredients and layer each one on top of each other in a rectangle pan.
I promise when you recreate this candy corn party you will forever be the hostess of your group. For-ever!
