I actually banned spaghetti from our home for a while because I was all spaghetti-ed out. And there are only so many french fries one can consume before turning into a potato. Toddler logic…
How about how I would love nothing more than to store a pillow in my cupboard for the brief moment in time where the boys are playing in the family room so I can nap… err… cook dinner?
What would you say if I told you there is a way to put a new dish on your table in 20 minutes? A new dish that is fan-freaking-tastic. And only requires a big skillet.
Did you catch that?
Mmmhhmm. I said one pan.
And no, I am not talking about four year old Michael. In fact, if I allowed my kids to use the stove, I would be out of a job. Preparing the strips of beef, yes. Potentially burning down our home, not so much.
- The Good Table® Crunchy Thai Peanut
- 1 pound of thin strips of beef
- Whatever vegetables you find in your fridge that need to be cooked ASAP so they don’t get pitched. I know you know the vegetables I’m talking about. The crisper is typically where my vegetables go to die.
- Olive oil to keep everything from sticking to the pan.
- Rice- I used 6 servings of white rice.
- Soy sauce, amino acids, whatever tickles your tastebuds- optional.
Start by dipping the strips of beef in the garlic sauce before coating them in the crust mix.
Easy enough, right?
Serve the stir fry over rice and call it a dinner. It was delicious.
