What do you come up with when your favorite little girl asks for a pink heart birthday party?
Pink hearts. Pink sequins. Pink lights. Pink princess chair. Pink wrapping paper. Pink. Pink Pink.
I could’ve dumped a bottle of Pepto Bismal all over my family room but I figured she would appreciate a gorgeous pink heart party more. For real, guys. It turned out much better than I thought it was going to and I don’t even like the color pink.
You see where this is going.
The cake even had a pink heart on the inside. Which, by the way, was incredibly easy to achieve with this fancy heart cake pan. My only tip is to skip your usual frosting and fill the heart cavity with something a bit stiffer.
And I don’t mean vodka. Please do not fill your heart cake with a fermented potatoes. That is not the appropriate way to get tiny humans to sleep.
Throw in a bowl of popcorn covered in sugar and you are guaranteed to have a house full of rabid toddlers teetering on the brink of a sugar coma.
I sent the birthday girl home with a giant marshmallow treat covered in candy melts that I’m sure her mom took away as soon as they set foot outside of my house.
And I covered Michael’s recliner in a piece of pink fabric so she had a special chair to sit in while she unwrapped her gifts.
It was adorable.
Do a girl a favor and pin this pink heart birthday party!
