Today I had an infusion and infusion days always make me cranky because of the side effects.
Rossman- Any new symptoms?
Me- No.
Rossman- Anything going on or are things becoming more regular?
Me- Well I get these wicked infusion headches but that isn’t anything new for me. I usually takes some Naproxene when I get home.
Rossman- Let’s try to pre-medicate this time and see if that helps.
Me- I will try anything once.
Taking 550 mg of Naproxene before my treatment helped alleviate me feeling like 12 days of sitting in the heat garbage but I am still feeling like the recycling bin that was left in the rain! Do Bloggers get FMLA days? No, because time does not stand still. That is like asking if Moms ever really get a day off. Yeah right!
Try this test out with a friend.
- Close your eyes and hold out your hands.
- Have your friend point your thumbs up and down and guess which way that they are pointing.
I got 3 out 4 right and it is sort of bizarre that those pathways are the same as the ones preventing me from being able to stand with my eyes closed or keep my balance. I told him that I could walk again but you won’t find me out dancing any time soon! I have 1 year to get this under control because I am tearing up BlogHer 2013 and I need my feet to work.
On a different note, Monday night TV is horrible because I had a choice between Hotel Hell or Bachelor Pad. When will this whole Bachelor fixation finally end? I think it gets ratings because it could be classified as a soft porn mixed with a dash of drama.
Boy- I am so happy to be on this date with someone that I love.
Girl- I love you too.
Let the making out and bad decisions begin!
I understand that diamonds get girls to spread their legs because a couple Johnny Vegas shots do it to me but that really doesn’t make for quality entertainment. Now I can’t tell if my headache today is from the bad TV or my infusion. 🙂
Thank you for sharing this. My dad has MS and it is such a terrible disease to watch. Instead of watching their brain deteriorate like Alzheimer’s you watch their body waste away instead. It’s heartbreaking. My heart breaks for you as well. I pray that you find healing.
I can’t even fathom what life with ms must be like. I have fibromyalgia and as a blogger and mother of three I can attest to wishing for FMLA days as well! It’s a long tiresome road but it’s nice to know you have friends along the way. Here’s hoping and praying for healing all around! 😉
