I am so excited that I finally have most of the fabric for my Sister’s Star Wars baby shower now! Ā I could not believe that I walked out of Joann’s Fabric at $80 for everything. We still have to go back for her curtains and I had to buy some cloth diaper pre-folds but I am pretty happy with it all. I am hoping that I can get things sold at a decent price and still make my money back. Maybe even get a couple bucks for my time investment too? Who knows!
I bought 1 yard of each of the fabrics pictured above and those are going to be burp cloths and bibs. I know that I bought too much fabric so I will probably make a couple pillows and blankets as well. The possibilities are endless really! Have I mentioned that I am excited? š
This is what her crib bumper and Winter blanket are going to look like. (Yes, we still use crib bumpers so get over it.) I think this was the perfect bumper fabric because she can use pretty much any solid colored sheet and it will match the print. We found a matching fleece print so that is what the Winter blanket will be made out of to keep her warm.
It’s really too bad that I won’t have a sewing machine before I get my Christmas presents this year because that means that I have to include an additional step. I might have to break up the crafting posts into 2 posts because I will cut and pin everything at my house and take them to Granny’s to sew together. Maybe I will keep them as one and just post them later but I can’tĀ guaranteeĀ that I won’t want to show you guys ASAP!
Hmm… decisions, decisions!
Hi Mallery!!!
Can you tell me where you bought the star wars fabric??
Thank you very much!
None other than JoAnn Fabric!
