You hope that babies and funerals don’t ever make it into the same sentence, but the truth is they sometimes do. Thankfully the only connection babies and funerals have in this sentence is that they both happened to me this week. Does it now make sense why there has only been one post in 8 days?
Leah was born on Monday and Grandma passed Tuesday night… a perfect balance of life.
stressed enjoyed ourselves at the Schuplin Thanksgiving and today we are trekking down to Clarkston for the viewing of Michael’s Grandma, Michaleen Schensky. It’s bittersweet when someone passes, but it is a good reminder to never miss a chance to see your loved ones. It makes me happy to know that Michaleen was able to see my little Yoda before her health took a turn for the worse.
Hold the phone- I don’t need you Sensitive Sallys get all bent out of shape because I included this picture. Funerals are a time to mourn and they are also a time to remember the good times. People live on through us so if you can’t talk about all of the good memories then they will slowly fade away until nothing is left. Get a good cry out of the way early so you can get to the laughs as you share stories of your loved one with anyone that will listen.
