“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Reebok. I received a Famous Footwear gift card to purchase a pair of Reebok shoes to facilitate my review and to thank me for participating.”
I already confessed my love for kettlebell workouts, along with my lack of working out this summer in a previous post so I won’t talk in circles here. What I will talk about is how momma sometimes needs a little somethin’ somethin’ to get her motor running… to the gym, of course!
In case you didn’t know, the Schuplins have what some would consider a shopping problem, a shoe fetish even, because we own boxes and boxes of shoes in EVERY color imaginable. I don’t know if we just prefer the rubber air freshener smell sneakers bring to our house, or what, but I own more sneakers than heels. I really should write a post about our shoe habits instead of kettlebell workouts to show you exactly what I am talking about, you never know who might become a new follower because of that post! Ha!
And no, we aren’t poor because of our shoe obsession. I like to consider ourselves strategically shoe obsessed. Sort of like a lioness waiting to pounce on her prey. (Or Simba failing at his pouncing, however you feel like interpreting it.) Any shoe person knows about Famous Footwear. Famous Footwear and a good deal is sort of like peanut butter and jelly; like macaroni and cheese; like going number 1 and number 2, it’s just a thing.
Dudes, I’m not lying to you when I say I walked out the door with his and her Reebok shoes for $89! EIGHTY NINE doll hairs, you guys! You see, I sort of really like Reebok shoes for my kettlebell workouts because they are light. Well… I like the ones that aren’t pink. I hate pink but that isn’t a surprise to any of you who actually read my stuff. (Please don’t point out the obvious.)
Sooooo, I bought a shiny new pair of Reebok shoes in honor of the pain I will endure once I start my kettlebell workout again, because that’s what normal people do when there is a shoe sale. Brace yourself because in one week I will turn into the annoying gym rat who checks in every single day with some sort of ‘inspirational’ something to remind you of the fact you just bought a dozen chocolate covered doughnuts. Oh wait, I did that last night. Whoopsie!
A few of my favorite kettlebell workouts
- One-handed kettlebell swing.
- Kettlebell deadlift.
