Seeing how I kicked off the 2015 holiday season with a Harry Potter Halloween party, I thought it was only fitting to give our tiny humans a little Halloween fun this time.
Although… I’m almost positive mommy and daddy threw down on the Halloween pudding cups harder. Hang out until the end of this party and you will understand why.
Halloween Party Decorations:
Difficult but the CUTEST EVER! We will sleep once the kids flee the nest, right?
- Channel your inner grade school student to make the cone and glue it together.
- Channel your inner high school student to cut out the correct size circle.
- Glue the brim (circle) to the yellow lid.
- Wrap a color coordinated ‘construction paper ribbon’ around the base of the hat.
Done. Finished. That’s a wrap.
Get it? We wrapped the ribbon around the hat? C’mon…
Halloween Party Food:
Snack Pack® Pudding Cups make excellent edible cauldrons. Well, the innards are edible, not the globes they are in. The globe is glass, and I don’t recommend eating glass. Now if someone could come over and explain what is and what isn’t edible to my baby, that’d be great.
Not having to bake cookies and/or cupcakes is a huge win for the husband cleaning up after you wreck the kitchen. Again. For the second time that week.
Not naming names or anything, but yeah… it’s a never ending cycle when you plan parties for a living.
Halloween Pudding Cups:
- NABISCO Go-Paks! Mini OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
- NABISCO Go-Paks! NUTTER BUTTER Bites Sandwich Cookies
- Reddi Wip Original
- Snack Pack® Pudding Cups (Chocolate/Vanilla)
- Caramel drizzle
- Halloween themed candy
- Peanuts
Ingredients for Peanut Butter Vanilla:
- NABISCO Go-Paks! NUTTER BUTTER Bites Sandwich Cookies
- NABISCO Go-Paks! Mini OREO Golden Sandwich Cookies
- Reddi Wip Original
- Snack Pack® Pudding Cups (Vanilla)
- Caramel drizzle
- Halloween themed candy
- Peanuts
- Work in groups of three (Mini OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, Mini OREO Golden Sandwich Cookies, and NUTTER BUTTER Bites Sandwich Cookies).
- Split the NUTTER BUTTER Bites in half, you will make both of the pudding cups listed above by adding them to the different OREO Go-Paks!.
- Find a utensil that allows you to crush the cookies inside the cup (I used a meat masher thingie-ma-jig.) and crush about 1/3 of the cookies at a time.
- Add the appropriate Snack Pack® Pudding Cup to the cup of cookies.
- Replace the lid and shake whatcha momma gave ya.
- Add the rest of the crushed OREO cookies and NUTTER BUTTER Bites.
Note: For the sake of demonstrating via pictures, I opted to shake the pudding with half of the crushed cookies instead of filling the cup with half cookies, pudding, and the second half of the cookies. Both ways result in the same delicious pudding cup.
- Top your magnificent pudding cup with a healthy dose of Reddi Wip, caramel, peanuts, and Halloween themed candy.
They are everything you’ve ever wanted from a dessert in a plastic cup. Read: It doesn’t leak and there are no bowls to wash. Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth fingers? ZERO bowls.
You’re welcome.
