If I go ask my husband what he wants for dinner he will definitely say, “Anything but spaghetti, pizza, tacos, fish sticks, and chicken salad.”
And I’m sitting over here like, “Well alright then. I don’t care what either of you eat as long as you eat something wholesome and you clean up after yourselves. You’re big boys, figure it out.”

As enticing as the circus sounds, I went ahead and added the all-natural flavors of Alexia® Sweet Potato Fries to our taco toppings. Think about it. Who would go grocery shopping if I run off to tame lions and wrangle elephants in sequin outfits?
Exactly, they would starve and I would have no one to send my earnings home to.
With everyone becoming more and more aware of what they are feeding their families, natural, wholesome products and ingredients make sense, right?
I think so.
The beauty of chicken and sweet potato tacos is being able to supplement the main ingredients with whatever your family enjoys. My family gets so distracted with filling their own taco with the good stuff that they don’t realize how many fresh from the farm ingredients they are putting in their shell.
Mom tricks for days, guys.
Call me a people pleaser if you must, but we do a good amount of build your own meals so all parties are happy and eating real food. Emphasis on real food. It’s easier that way and it keeps me sane.
There are plenty of pains attempting to send me to the funny farm. Getting my family to eat real food is not one of them.
