“I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Eppa SupraFruta Sangria. I received product samples to facilitate to my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.”
What do you get when you mix a never ending polar vortex with a party addict dreaming of the upcoming swimsuit season?
Duh! You get a sangria party, of course!
For the record, I’m not talking about the love handles runneth over portion of said season… if ya know what I mean!
Start by following this easy peasy wine cork coasters tutorial.
Party favors… check!
Next you will travel to far out countries for organic blueberries, grapes, peaches, pomegranate, mangoes, and the ever elusive blood orange. Prepare your mind for a fight until death situation because the higher the antioxidant level, the more sought after the superfruit becomes.
But for real, organic fruit juices make Eppa SupraFruta Sangria almost twice as antioxidant rich as a glass of red wine. That totally means you are allowed to drink twice as much, right?
Do as I say, not as I do. Always drink responsibly.
Which flavors pair well with sangria?
From the lips of a wino, to the ears of the masses… sangria pairs well with foods containing a bit of a kick. Which is why I served my guests pepperjack and hot pepper cheese. And yes, my party dinner consisted of cheese, sangria, and a side of cookies.
Psst… those are wine cupcakes with wine buttercream! Oh mylanta!
But you don’t have to stick to the ‘foods with a kick’ rule because chocolate covered pineapple is sort of a pairing of epic proportions. Eppa White is a little dry and chocolate goes with sangria like snowmagedon goes with Michigan. Winning!
I used blueberries, grapes, and blood oranges in these ice cubes.
Eppa Red is a smooth, dark berry sangria that happens to be the literal definition of grownup grape juice. Not to mention, it tastes like whatever yummy times infinity is.
I used peaches, mangoes, and blood oranges in these ice cubes.
Eppa White is SO GOOD and you guys know I don’t get down on white wine often. Dare I say Eppa White was my favorite of the two? Pick your jaw up because it’s true. I noshed on pepperjack cheese and sangria all-night-long!
Both are 8.5% alcohol and are sure to delight your crowd. I know my crowd polished an undisclosed number of bottles in no time! Thankfully it was an easy party to throw together because there wasn’t any measuring and mixing garbage going on.
Cheers to a successful party and bring on the warmer weather!
