I AM A PARTY CRAZY.
I’m talking I was a straight up whack job when it came to the Tonka Truck birthday party crafts. I am overly anal about every-little-detail, like all of them. Every detail down to only serving the pretty meatballs because people don’t eat ugly food. I’m a certified crazy person. I wouldn’t even be surprised if my family thought I needed pills when it comes to my crazy party behavior.
Just kidding… well… maybe.
TONKA TRUCK BIRTHDAY PARTY CRAFTS
- Spray painted clearance trays
- Cups with chalkboard name tags
- Dolled up silverware
SPRAY PAINT TRAYS
It was sheer luck that I walked by the party clearance at Walmart because they had the above trays marked down to .50 each! Can you say jackpot? I picked up some Krylon spray paint and doused those suckers in plastic friendly spray paint in about 10 minutes. Easy peasy and matchy matchy.
DUCT TAPE SILVERWARE
This craft was something I would classify as crazy town unless, of course, you can relate to the importance of little details. All I did was buy the silverware, a $4 roll of Duct Tape, and put the little strips about where you would place your fingers when holding the utensil.
CUPS WITH CHALKBOARD PAINT NAME TAGS
I had to tell my inner perfectionist to stay home on this part of my Tonka Truck birthday party crafts because painting a perfect box with my less than stellar hand is like asking a man to stop peeing on the outside of the toilet. Not gonna happen.
You might be wondering the same thing one of my girlfriends was when I shared the above picture on Instagram. Why would I go through the effort to make the chalkboard name tag cups when I could have used those scratch off cups? My answer to that was simple. Scratch off cups are a one time use, and chalkboard cups can be used again. This falls into the category of pick your poison.
In an earlier birthday party post I asked people what they thought were the most important items for a host to stock the bathroom with during a party. I missed a couple things, like lotion and hand sanitizer, but for the most part I was spot on. Thank goodness!

How gross is this- In the U.S. alone, people dry their hands on cloth bathroom towels approximately 200 billion times per year. Just because a towel looks clean doesn’t mean it is. Even after they’re washed, hands are only as clean as the towel used to dry them. Kleenex has found an ideal way to dry hands at home by delivering a clean, fresh towel each time for proper hand hygiene.
